1) la question du jour: Write the appropriate form of the demonstrative adjective in each sentence.

a) Je mange (ce, cet, cette, ces) soupe.
b) Donnez-moi (ce, cet, cette, ces) livre!
c) Nous allons au cinéma avec (ce, cet, cette, ces) garçons.
d) Donnez-moi (ce, cet, cette, ces) gâteau!
e) (Ce, Cet, Cette, Ces) homme est grand.


2) We began work on our last, and final unit for the year - Phénomènes canadiens. We worked in our cahier on page 3, using the information found in our textbook on pages 2, 3, 4, and 5.. We also listened to a promotional piece for a show called Zone X.

3) Today we learned about "futur proche". This is a form of future tense. To form the "futur proche" we use the present tense of the verb "aller" + the infinitive of another verb.

Je vais manger. - I am going to eat.
Tu vas parler. - You are going to talk.
Il va voyager. - He is going to travel.
Nous allons chanter. - We are going to sing.
Vous allez écouter. - You are going to listen.
Ils vont dormir. - They are going to sleep.

To create a negative statement, wrap "ne pas" arounf the verb "aller". e.g. Tu ne vas pas parler. - You are not going to talk.
