3) Prepositions with Canadian provinces and territories:
- When we want to talk about where to go in Canada, we use the following prepositions:
au, en, à, and dans
- When the name of the province is masculine, we use "au" in front of the province; au Québec (in Quebec).
- When the name of the province is feminine, we use "en"; en Nouvelle-Écosse (in Nova Scotia).
- But there are exceptions. We say à Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, à l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard, en Ontario, est dans les Territoires du Nord-Ouest.
4) Produire une affiche ou un dépliant: Create a poster or a brochure of a Canadian province or territory. Faites un brouillon (make a rough copy). Use your criteria sheet. If you have lost your sheet or never recieved one, then make sure you speak to me.
